Most extremely successful products these days are either designed to save time or they allow the user to do something in a simpler, more practical way.
The AquaTreeTM has achieved both of these feats, while also overhauling a stagnate innovation in the food growth industry by changing the entire method of water delivery, nutrient delivery, scalability, and simple lighting management.
Whether you’re a long-time grower or someone just getting started for at home use, the AquaTreeTM gives each person the ability to scale to their food demand. For advanced users who have been using hydroponic, aquaponic and bioponic systems to grow large amounts of food, the AquaTreeTM is now seen as the solution that combats most of their growing woes. Due to the innovative water delivery system, nutrients are able to be delivered to the plant without having to be micro-filtered in order to remove solids that clog pumps, nozzles, and have sediment that fill up in grow basins. This accumulated debris and advanced filtering needs is a pain. The clean out of other systems is so impractical and laborious that it creates a need for sophisticated and overcomplicated filtering. These challenges are overcome with the water delivery system in the AquaTreeTM. It’s as simple as spraying out a tray at harvest.
Not to mention, the system acts as its own racking systems, light management system, active aeration, and is easily scalable from small to large plants, can grow micro-greens, grasses, lettuces, and fruiting plants. The versatility is off the charts.
Making it possible for at-home growers to take advantage of this easy to use system has been my dream ever since creating the first design. I firmly believe that people should be able to take back the power over their food supply. I recently entered the retail market in order to help encourage people to overcome their fears by starting with a smaller system that they could learn on, could teach their kids on and that they could gain immediate successes with. By actually growing and then seeing how easy it is to produce nutrient dense plants. Once they see their child pick a micro-green or lush lettuce off of a plant, that they grew from the seed right in your kitchen, it forever changes their relationship with food for the better.
There are many systems out there that claim to be user-friendly, I encourage you to research, read reviews, talk to past consumers, and truly understand how complicated these systems are to operate. One of the most important factors consumers don’t fully understand is that they need to be able to easily clean the system, and easily re-plant crops from seed, let the system do its magic, remove the tray, cut off desired vegetation, and then watch your harvest get eagerly eaten at dinner.
I’m often asked what is the most desirable feature of the AquaTreeTM ; and I always come back to the same feature. That is the ability to have multiple levels of plants growing at the same time. Some seeds germinate very quickly in 3 to 4 days, other seeds take 10 to 15 days. Even with the AquaTreeTM cutting most germination times in half, waiting for the seeds to germinate takes up a lot of real estate in grow systems. With multiple levels, seeds can be started on lower levels and while awaiting germination, plants in upper levels can be spaced so that their canopy can bloom and be ready for multiple harvests. When consumption is complete, you can easily move one of the trays from the lower levels into the upper levels to then accelerate growth. A good crop rotation is crucial when considering daily consumption of the plants you’re growing. With enough trays and AquaTreeTM you can have a never-ending supply of food in a very compact space. And the best thing is that growers can easily scale their system as their education grows.
Join us in our mission at Grow LocalTM to help take back our food supply from the conglomerates. At the very minimum, I implore you to do your own research of the pros and cons of systems on the market. Learn the good and the bad, learn the tricks of the trade, and don’t end up being one of those people that tried growing their own food and gave up. Be one of the success stories that helps change the way our planet thinks about growing food.
The AquaTreeTM is that system. Your device for taking back control of your education. Thanks for taking time to read. I know you will enjoy your AquaTreeTM!
